The Shrine of Remembrance was built between July 1928 and November 1934 in rememberance of 114,000 men &women of victoria who served and those who died in the great war of World war 1...

The sanctuary contains the marble Stone of Remembrance, upon which is engraved the words "Greater love hath no man". Once a year, on 11 November at 11 a.m. (Remembrance Day), a ray of sunlight shines through an aperture in the roof to light up the word "Love" in the inscription.

The Royal Botanical gardens are internationally renowned botanical gardens located near the centre of MelbourneVictoria,Australia, on the south bank of the Yarra River

The gardens include a mixture of native and non-native vegetation which  variably hosts a diverse range of both native and non-native fauna. The gardens host over 10,000 floral species, the majority being non-native species.

the best thing about Melbourne is that there is an easy access to transportation..
you can catch trams for your place after every 5 minutes...and if you forgot the way the ppl out there were so warm & friendly that they are always ready to help you....

Every street has its  name...like Swanston Street,Queen's Street ....and the rules & regulations were very stringent there ...there was silence all all round and even in the streets no one use horns and there were speedy cameras all over & make sure that no one could overlimit its speed...for every pedestrian there was a signal that one has to follow....
