How come tears come out of our eyes when we cry?

Tears flow from our eyes when we cry because they contain chemicals and hormones produced by our bodies. When we become upset, our brains and bodies overreact and work overtime by producing chemicals and hormones.Crying helps eliminate these extra chemicals that we don't need.

Can Dogs see colours??

No.

Man's best friend is colorblind, but, fortunately, his survival does not depend upon the ability to see colors. His keen sense of smell compensates for his inability to see colors, and enables him to differentiate between things .The only animals, other than man, scientists can conclusively say have color vision are monkeys and apes.

How does a helium balloon float?

Helium is lighter than air and just as the heaviest things will tend to fall to the bottom, the lightest things will rise to the top.
Helium isn't the lightest element, the hydrogen, weighing a mere 0.08988 grams per liter, but the hydrogen is flammable & the slightest spark can set a huge explosion.

why do golf balls have dimples??

Because the dimples maximize the distance golf balls travel. Dimpled balls travel up to four times farther than smooth-surfaced golf balls.

The science of aerodynamics helps us to explain the dimpled phenomenon. The dimples reduce the drag on a golf ball by redirecting more air pressure behind the golf ball rather than in front of it. The higher levels of pressure behind the golf balls force them to go far distances.

Why the sky is blue??

The sky appears blue to us on a clear day, because the atoms of nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere separate the sun's white light into its many colors, and scatter them throughout the atmosphere.

The wavelength of the blue light scatters better than the rest, predominates over the other colors in the light spectrum, and makes the sky appear blue to us.

the amount of light scattered is inversely proportional to the fourth power of wavelength for sufficiently small particles.  It follows that blue light is scattered more than red light by a factor of (700/400)4 ~= 10.

The light spectrum ranges in wavelength from red to violet, and, since the wavelength of the blue light passes through the particles with greater ease than the wavelengths of the other colors of light, the sky appear blue to the naked eye.

human eye has three types of light receptors, known as cones, located in the retina. The
cones are either considered to be red, or blue, or green, based upon their strong response to light at these wavelengths. As light stimulates these receptors, our vision translates the signals into the colors we see.

When gazing at the sky, the red cones respond to the small amounts of red light scattered, and even less strongly to the orange and yellow wavelengths. Although green cones respond to yellow, their response to scattered green and green-blue wavelengths is stronger. Finally, colors near the strongly scattered blue wavelengths stimulate the blue receptors.

the skylight stimulates the red and green cones almost equally, while stimulating the blue cones more strongly. For these reasons, our vision naturally adjusts as clearly as possible to separate colors.

A tour 2 Goa...

@ banana boating

Itz a mesmerizing place ..I have been second time dere..It was really an awesome experience.enjoyed a lot...I did all the adventures like water scooter, parasailing, banana boating ,bumpy ride.but the best one was banana boating ,.

Parasiling pics (me nd kalyani)

After a few turns, the driver speed up and then suddenly the Banana boat tips over, and when it does we're thrown into the water! But thankfully due to our life jacket, we all just bob up and down on the water but it was very hard pulling yourself back onto the Banana boat while in the water, and it uses a lot of upper-body strength.

                                                       Sunset @Anjuna beach...

i didn't know that the boat gonna fall us in the middle of the sea...As me and my friend were enjoying & one of our friend almost drowned & was floating  .& not able to take breathe properly .we were just scared ven saw him but somehow he got his breath & had 2 leave d boating ride.but we all had a gr8 time overdere... One of the gud experience i  had ....

                                                                                      @Baga Beach...

Why are some people left handed?

One theory centers on the two halves of the brain, i.e. the left half and the right half, each of which functions differently. Medical science believes that the left half of the brain predominates over the right half. the fact is that nerves from the brain cross over at neck-level to the opposite side of the body, and nerves from the other side of the brain reciprocate. The end result is that the opposite sides of the body are supplied by the opposite sides of the brain.

The predominant left half of the brain, which graciously supplies the right half of the body, theoretically renders it more skillful in reading, writing, speaking, and working, and makes most people right-handed. "Lefties," however, are the product of an inversion, whereas the right half of the brain predominates, and they work best with the left side of their bodies

why do onion make us cry?

The onion itself contains oil, which contains sulfur, an irritant to both our noses and to our eyes. Cutting an onion arouses a gas contained within the onion, propanethiol S-oxide, which then couples with the enzymes in the onion to emit a passive sulfur compound. When this upwardly mobile gas encounters the water produced by the tear ducts in our eyelids, it produces sulfuric acid.
